Chicken Schezwan Manchurian | Full Making Process | 2018

Friends usually when we visit any restaurant no need to check the menu card before ordering chicken manchurian. This is another most popular Indo-Chinese dish in our table.

Indians mostly love to taste both the dry and gravy manchurian. Many people have their own recipes. It depends upon different places and different type of people.

But friends I bring the easiest process to make the chicken schezwan manchurian dry.

Ingredients for marination:

  1. 250 grams boneless chicken, cut into strips
  2. 1 egg
  3. 1½ soya sauce
  4. ¼ crushed black peppercorns to taste
  5. 1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
  6. Salt to taste
  7. 2 to 3 tbsps corn flour (1 tbsp more optional)
  8. 2 to 3 tbsps plain flour/ maida (optional)
  9. ¼ tsp. red chili powder
  10. Oil for deep fry

 Step 1.  Take all the ingredients which are described above and mixed it in a big bowl. Keep this for 30 to 40 min.

At this time gap, you can cut the veggies.

Preparation of gravy:

  1. Cut the yellow capsicum and some green capsicum and red also.
  2. 1 tsp chopped garlic
  3. 3 tbsp sliced spring onion greens
  4. 1 tbsp tomato ketchup
  5. ½ tbsp soya sauce
  6. 1 tbsp schezwan sauce/chatni

Step 2. Put on a frying pan on gas. Pour oil to fry the chicken. Fry the chicken deeply but do not overcook it. Stire well to fry evenly. Then keep that fried chicken in a bowl with tissue to soak the oil.

Step 3.  Take 1 tbsp oil in a pan and hit it well. Then add 1 tsp chopped garlic and 1 tbsp sliced spring onion greens and mixed it well for 2min. in low flame till the smell is removed from the garlic then add 2 green chillis sliced from the middle.

Step 4.  Now add the soya sauce and the ketchup and the schezwan chatni and stire it with salt. When the color gets dark brown-black to add some water and mix and boil it, wait for 2min with covered the pan.

Step 5.  To make gravy little thicker add 2 tbsp cornflour slurry and mixed well.

Step 6.  Put all the red yellow and green capsicum with the gravy and cover it again to make it little softy. Then add the fried chicken with it. Stir it well. Then, at last, add 2tbsp spring onion greens with it and mix.

Step 7.  Garnish with spring onions and coriander leaves and serve it.
